A four-time NBA All-Star, Holiday is the son of former NBA player Tommy Holiday. He played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins, where he was named a consensus first-team All-American in 2009.
Holiday was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 17th overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft. He was traded to the New Orleans Hornets in 2013 and then to the Bucks in 2018. Holiday has helped lead the Bucks to the NBA Finals in 2021 and 2023, winning the championship in 2021.
